Touch is one of the most soothing feelings we experience. Do you remember when you were a child and if you didn’t feel well or were upset and your parent gave you a hug or rubbed your back or arm to comfort and reassure you. Unfortunately, as we get older and the stresses of family/work lives takes over we don’t seem to experience that sense of comfort from touch, we probably give that to our children, partner or friend but forget about ourselves. That is where a Holistic Full Body Massage comes in as the whole body and mind relaxes and we let go of our stresses, thoughts of the day and go into a full state of relaxation that can give clarity to the brain.

I practice Holistic Massage which means that not only do I work on tense muscles as a physical result of stress creating a deeply relaxing massage, but the Holistic Massage incorporates the clients emotional and spiritual well-being. During the Full Body Holistic Massage, the client is usually deeply relaxed, and the massage movements aim to release some of the stresses and tensions that build up in our body over time. Sometimes it has taken clients a few massages to start feeling the benefits and these clients might be holding trauma, extreme stress, bereavement and so the power of touch should never be underestimated.

During the Holistic Full Body Massage, you will experience long smooth gliding strokes that are rhythmic & flowing. The pressure is deeply relaxing but never painful. This treatment is designed to soothe and relax you but not to relieve chronic pain or underlying ailments.
